SNOW Operating Announces Corporate Restructuring
Montville, NJ (October 15, 2021) – Today SNOW Operating is proud to announce the formation and launch of SNOW Partners as the new parent entity that will preside over the company’s various operating businesses. SNOW Partners will operate out of Montville, New Jersey and is comprised of the ownership and executive teams for both the company’s resort operating and resort services divisions.

As part of this restructuring, SNOW Partners is proud to announce the hiring and promotion of several key personnel across its various businesses. This includes the promotion of Scott Baldassano from General Counsel to Chief Legal Officer, Hugh Reynolds from VP of Marketing & Sales to Chief Marketing Officer for SNOW Partners, and the promotion of Patrick Hession from VP of Operations to Chief Operating Officer for SNOW Partners. Joining SNOW Partners as Chief Financial Officer is Erik Tlatelpa who comes to the company from SIX Group, a global leader in financial technology services. Former CFO and industry veteran, Mike Sangalli will be moving into an advisory role with the company.
Within the resort operating division, both Christopher Haggerty and Evan Kovach have been promoted to Co-General Managers for Mountain Creek. Mountain Creek Hospitality Director, Josh Bernstein has been promoted to VP of Hospitality. Long-time team member, Christine Vette, has been promoted to Controller for both Mountain Creek and Big SNOW, and Big SNOW Marketing Manager, Trish McLeod has been promoted to Director of Resorts Marketing & Sales, overseeing the shared-service marketing department for both Mountain Creek and Big SNOW.
Lastly, SNOW Partners announces the formation of the Joseph P. Hession Foundation, a charitable not-for-profit organization focused on increasing awareness and education related to drug and alcohol addiction. The Joseph P. Hession Foundation is named for Joe and Patrick’s father, a recovering alcoholic, who has been sober for the last 45 years. Joseph P. Hession spent his career as a drug and alcohol counselor and was recognized as the New York State Counselor of the year in 2000. In its first official act, the Joseph P. Hession Foundation recently made a $50,000 donation to the Sussex County Center for Prevention and Counseling in support of the Vernon Coalition at its annual appreciation gala held at Mountain Creek on September 20th, 2021.
