Eric Lipton is a proven thought leader and critical thinker in the areas of Guest Experience Design & Process Improvement, and is the Chief Operating Officer of SNOW Operating.
Eric leads some of the most iconic resorts through large scale process design projects such as Children’s Snowsports Schools, Rental Shops, Snowsports learning areas, and Chairlift capacity analysis.
With an ethos of supporting the industry at large, Eric has created industry research highlighting the Voice of the Customer, and in conjunction with SAM Magazine, he has also produced a widely distributed educational video series on Capacity Management and enhancing the flow of people through resort base areas.
Having served thirteen years on the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) National Alpine Team, Eric has represented the United States at three Interski Congresses throughout the world, and is a frequent contributor to NSAA Journal, Ski Area Management Magazine, 32 Degrees, PSIA-AASI Teaching & Technical Manuals, and sits on the National Ski Areas Association Conversion & Growth committee.
Eric earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University’s Smeal College of Business, his Lean Certification from Villanova University, and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from the University of Utah’s Eccles School of Business.
